Bob Roberts
President
Bob serves as President of M&O Americas and comes to this position with an exceptionally strong background in oil and gas operations management in the U.S. and in a variety of international locations.
After serving in the U.S. Army Security Agency for 6 years, with tours of duty in Viet Nam and Latin America, Bob began his oil and gas career with Amerada Hess in Lafayette Louisiana where he worked as an engineering technician while continuing his studies at the University of S.W. Louisiana.
Bob made the decision early on in his career to get involved in the service side of the industry and to move into the international arena. His first assignment was with Champion Chemicals Inc. that took him to S.E. Asia. After completing 3 years in Indonesia he accepted a position with Union Carbide and moved to Mexico City where he and his family continue to maintain a residence.
In 2006 Bob moved to Wood Group Production Services working as Project Manager for WG’s contract with ExxonMobil in Equatorial Guinea. In January 2010 Bob moved to his current position with M&O Americas.
In his new role Bob will be responsible for expansion of M&O’s business in all of the Americas and West Africa including oversight of facility upgrades to OPITO standards at the Thibodaux La. facility and orchestrating openings of new facilities during the coming months.
