Multi-lingual training centre off to a flying start

Following months of construction and preparation, M&O Tunisia’s world-class training centre is now open for business.

M&O Tunisia has successfully completed its first safety training in our new facilities in Sfax, providing training in HUET and Sea Survival. The first trainees to the new centre,twelve in total, flew into Sfax from Mauritania where they work on the Berge Helene FPSO in the Chinguetti field. The trainees expressed delight in both the training facilities and the quality and professionalism of the training they received.
While Senior Instructor Jim Burcide provided the course information in English, two of our assistant Instructors translated the course material into French and Arabic, ensuring all participants enjoyed complete comprehension of the training. M&O Tunisia is not only proud of the high standard of training provided, but that the multi-lingual services it is capable of providing meets the need of the whole North African region.
Our new internationally accredited training centre is also winning plaudits from industry stalwarts. M&O Tunisia’s new facilities were recently visited by Gary Russell, Senior Drilling Engineer for Storm Ventures International Inc. Mr Russell said the quality of M&O’s new training centre was as good as anywhere he had seen elsewhere in the world, and more than suitable to train personnel for an upcoming drilling operations in the African region.
With new facilities, multi-lingual safety training services and international accreditation, M&O Tunisia looks forward to developing a strong relationship with local clients and assisting local oil & gas operators provide safety and security for their personnel.
