The training regulations of the International Maritime Organization (IMO) have forever changed the way that shipping companies and companies supplying services offshore operate.

With the introduction of new Standards for Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers (STCW 95) all shipping companies now must ensure their crew meet a prescribed level of accredited safety training.

Our STCW 95 training courses are designed according to the IMO model course requirements, and are approved by the various Port state controls, for immediate recognition world-wide.

M&O also conducts a wide range of safety training courses designed specifically for personnel working on offshore oil and gas facilities, in emergency response roles and for general safety skills.

M&O is OPITO accredited in numerous locations, and is able to conduct the BOSIET course in addition to fire fighting courses from basic to advanced.
