Mark Peck

General Director

Mark Peck is the General Director of YKK.

Mark has been with M&O Global since 1998 and established the Kazakhstan operation in May 1999. He is a permanent resident of Kazakhstan.

He is a highly trained & experienced safety specialist. Mark has six years SF military and a further three years operational and instructing experience with the National Safety Council of Australia in Parachute Rescue and related Search and Rescue (SAR) / Diver Retrieval / Rural Fire Fighting activities.

In addition to his MBA, he holds formal qualifications with a Diploma, Advanced Certificate and Certificate level in Survival and Rescue Techniques, Human Resources and other Industry related qualifications.

Mark's operational and business experience is broad. As well as establishing M&O's operations in Indonesia, Singapore, Qatar and Kazakhstan, he previously held senior management positions for a period of six years with two of Australia's largest contract commercial aviation operators.

Yuri Kior

Operations Manager

Yuri was YKK's first National employee and has risen to the position of Operations Manager of YKK Kazak operations.

He joined Mark in 2000 and over the past 10 years has been instrumental in training YKK's local employees in all facets of YKK operations to the required International oil & gas and Marine Standards.

With formal Marine qualifications, Yuri has expanded his knowledge and updated his qualifications in both Training and HSE related fields.

He holds Level 4 approval in Adult Education from NZQA, NEBOSH IGC, IOSH approved Instructor, OPITO Internal Auditor plus other Industry qualifications. On the servicing side he has been factory trained in MSA, Draeger, Capital Safety, BAFE range of products and services.

In addition to his responsibilities as Operations Manager, Yuri is one of four YKK personnel trained in SAR Rescue Swimmer Duties and continues to play a pivotal role in the development of both operations and services functions of YKK's National Workforce.

Sveta Sakiyeva

Administration Manager

Sveta joined YKK in June 2007 as YKK's first Administration Manager.

Her critical role encompasses the responsibilities for many line functions including Finance, HR, Labor Protection, Quality Control, Government Relations and oversees the vital interface link between YKK's operational components and the administrational components of our business.

Prior to joining YKK, Sveta held senior positions in the trade/energy section of a foreign Embassy, as well as Senior Administration specialist positions liaising with foreign companies and with a large foreign bank based in Kazakhstan.

She holds a degree in English languages and is fluent in Kazak, Russian and English.

Sveta plays a pivotal 'behind the scenes' role in ensuring that YKK's operational activities are well supported by our Administration Team and that YKK's client needs remain at the forefront of the Company's considerations and aspirations.
