About YKK and Kazakhstan/Caspian Sea

YKK has been providing its world class safety & training solutions to the oil & gas operators in the region since 1999. With clients including Agip KCO, Shell Kazakhstan, Exxon Mobil and the major drilling and service providers, we are the leading provider of safety and emergency response training in Kazakhstan.

YKK has two world class international training and service centres in Atyrau and Bautino with plans established to construct a third in Aktau during 2010. Currently in Aktau we utilise leased facilities to provide services. Our Instructors hold International approvals to instruct in their respective fields of expertise and can do so in four languages - Kazak, Russian, Turkish and English. These approvals have been accepted by OPITO & the IMO.

With a full range of safety training courses available, clients can be assured that their HSE needs will be met by YKK. YKK regularly teaches up to 34 programs from its three bases including four OPITO accreditations, and training programs are advised a month in advance. With 36 Instructional Staff, YKK has the capacity to train large groups and multiple subjects simultaneously and for extended periods of time. For training outside of these programs, YKK can call on the extensive resources provided by M&O Global.

Should training be required on-site, YKK can deploy its mobile safety training services to a location convenient to the client. In the past we have dispatched teams to Azerbaijan, Russia and Turkmenistan.

In addition to its training activities YKK provides a niche range of services and logistics support activities.
