Don Sheens
General Manager
Don is the General Manager of M&O Libya. His credentials for safety training, particularly in the oil & gas industry in Libya, are exceptional.
An ex-Royal Australian Navy clearance diver and minesweeper specialising in damage control and emergencies at sea, Don has also worked as an oil & gas exploration specialist.
Don also has a strong connection to Libya, having worked in the region for more than 13 years in a variety of resources related roles, including that of safety consultant. Don has an in-depth understanding of the unique requirements for businesses operating in the region.
As General Manager, Don builds strong relationships with clients to assist them meet their safety obligations to comply with Libyan guidelines and laws. Don is responsible for assessing and maintaining M&O Libya's quality service guarantee; ensuring clients receive the highest standard of M&O Global benchmarked training services.

Peter Preece
Training Manager
Peter is a qualified and experienced safety trainer. He has extensive experience in providing top-level offshore safety training in the North Sea and has served a full career of 22 years with the UK Military.
Peter is qualified in a diverse range of disciplines and has delivered courses for the oil & gas industry in New Zealand, Kazakhstan, Norway, Scotland and Libya. He is a CAA Radio Examiner; GMDSS Instructor registered with AMERC and an RYA SRC Examiner/Instructor with vast experience of all disciplines and durations of OPITO Offshore courses. He is a PADI and BSAC SCUBA Diving Instructor, RYA Powerboat Instructor, RYA Coastal Skipper (Sail) and holds HLO, GOC, ROC, SRC, Advanced Helm and various other Marine and Offshore certificates including TEMPSC Coxswain (Offshore). He also holds a UK HSE Dive Supervisor qualification.
Peter is a trainer committed to high standards. His international experience has given him the capability to create and deliver world-class training anywhere in the world. Peter is also passionate about training other trainers, which is reflected in the quality and motivation of Instructors at M&O Libya.
